"I Regret Doing Music" Nana Quame

Highlife musician Nana Quame on Kasapa Entertainment Personality Chat with Kojo Preko Dankwa has said music in Ghana currently has lost its value describing it as a joke.

When asked by the host if he has regretted doing music, he replied “Yes at a point, and at another point no since I felt I should have done something else rather than music.”

He noted that God has a purpose for every individual and that made him realise God has a purpose for bringing him into music, adding that he’s making good use of his music talent.

Speaking with Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5FM, Nana admitted that everything he had achieved in life is through music.

“I don’t take music as fun, to me music everything, it’s life, it’s the way forward. I do tell people that music is a spirit and can make and unmake you.”

Nana Quame alleged that many people in the industry are planning to end the music career of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale

“I can say for a fact that there are people in this industry who are even planning to kill Shatta Wale’s career but that guy is still on fire and people are finding it difficult to stop him.”

He further disclosed that highlife music is suffering, in that highlife songs are not being promoted as it is done to other genre of music which are being aired on Television and radio.

Nana Quame’s latest single ‘Oko Meho’ featuring Nero X is enjoying massive air play after some few days of release.
