Shouting 'E Dey Be Kὲkὲ' Is Mockery And Insult To Ghanaians
Special Aide to Nana Akufo-Addo, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), lawyer Yaw Buabeng Asamoah has backed his presidential candidate’s position that ‘e dey be kԑkԑ’ is a meaningless message from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to the NPP Adentan Constituency Parliamentary Candidate, shouting this ‘e dey be kԑkԑ’ mantra under this hardship inflicted on Ghanaians by President Mahama’s administration can only be a mockery when people cannot find money in their pockets.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah bemoaned Ghanaians suffering from the bad leadership of President Mahama as majority of Ghanaian youth are unemployed due to unavailability of factories.
He stressed that President John Dramani Mahama’s NDC government has no better policy for Ghanaians but they are quick to rubbish every good policy introduced by the NPP as they spoke vehemently against Akufo-Addo’s Free SHS policy.
Despite NDC critics of NPP’s policies especially one district one factory, lawyer Buabeng Asamoah averred that the NDC has never introduced any policy to change the lives of Ghanaians except to twist their mouth to shout ‘e dey be kԑkԑ’.
"Under President Mahama, Ghanaians are suffering from his bad leadership and so shouting ‘e dey be kԑkԑ’ is mockery and insult to the people who cannot even find a square meal a day. The NDC has nothing to offer Ghanaians but when you bring a policy, they come out to say that you cannot do it and instead, they only twist their mouth to shout ‘e dey be kԑkԑ’,” he chided.
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has criticised President John Mahama for what according to him is the lack of meaningful message in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s 2016 campaign.
Addressing a gathering at the Asesewa market, in the Upper Manya constituency of the Eastern Region, Nana Akufo-Addo said he will not join the fray to put out a meaningless message like ‘e dey be kԑkԑ’ – which means ‘life is good’.
