Montie FM Saga: Alistair Nelson Has Been Betrayed By The PPP - Anim Piesie

NDC Communicator, Bernard Anim Piesie has lambasted the Progressive People's Party (PPP) over the Muntie FM saga where the Host of the radio station's late afternoon talk show, Salifu Maase and two other persons have been summoned by the Supreme Court for contempt.

The host, Salifu Maase a.k.a Mugabe and his panelists Allistair Nelson and Godwin Ako-Gunn have been cited for contempt after they threatened the lives of Judges in the country.

The panelists made headlines on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 for threatening to visit mayhem on the Judges in their various homes.

Speaking on 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM, Anim Piesie wondered why the PPP has suddenly betrayed their own member following the legal suit against the culprits.

Anim Piesie stated emphatically that Allistair Nelson has been proven to be a member of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) and so the party should not distance themselves from him.

He expressed disgust over the PPP for not supporting their own in hard times.

But also addressing the issue on the same programme, a member of the PPP, Nana Ofori said that the threat by one of the respondents in the contempt case that he will marry the Chief Justice amounts to rape and further asked why the BNI dabble in the issue.

To him, this is a Supreme Court issue and so the BNI had no business in the case.

" . . it is tantamount to rape but they said it doesn’t show that they are capable to rape. In any case, are they impotent? The BNI had no business to have said what they said,” he said.
