District Chief Executive (DCE) of Asante Akyem District Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Paul Avero has debunked the suspicion of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), accusing the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) members of shit bombing the Asante Akyem North Constituency office of NPP.

The Asante Akyem North Constituency office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was soiled with human excreta over the weekend.

The office which was expected to be commissioned with some few hours away by the party’s Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was in an embarrassing state.

Even though perpetrators of the act are not known, some of the executives are pointing to a case of sabotage by ardent followers of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

These persons they believe are uncomfortable with the visit of Nana Akufo-Addo because they feel his presence will prove damaging for the fortune of President Mahama, the Presidential Candidate of the NDC, in the constituency.

Some residents are also pointing accusing fingers at some insider persons whom they believe are responsible for the act; thus they say the cracks within the party in the Constituency are to be blamed for the act.

They believe one of the feuding parties wants the Flagbearer to see the divided front ahead of the November polls.

Commenting on the issue, Hon. Paul Avero, DCE for Asante Akyem on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show also averred that the internal feud in NPP is strong enough to cause the shit bombing.

He maintained that it does not take feud between NPP and NDC members in Asante Akyem to shit bomb the NPP new office because the cracks in the opposition in the Asante Akyem is deep as some members don’t like the NPP Parliamentary Candidate.

He however urged the host of Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese to conduct his own investigation about the cracks within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
