Mystery Of Life; Men Are More Confusing Than Women

What women see in Russell Brand and why Cheryl Cole is still with husband Ashley are among the mysteries of modern life, according to a new poll. The laws of cricket, algebra, buying a house, and credit card interest rates also figured highly in the survey of the most confusing subjects. Foreign call centres came top of the table of Britain's 50 most confusing things, followed by mathematical equations and the attraction of Russell Brand. "The research shows we spend a lot of time rubbing our brows about all aspects of life from women's fascination with Russell Brand to the puzzling nature of foreign call centres," said a spokesman for Confused.com which conducted the poll. Researchers polled 4,979 people between the ages of 16 and 65. Men were deemed more confusing than women with almost 17% of people saying males were hardest to understand while almost 12% claimed to be most baffled by females. Social networking site Twitter also made the list as did Stephen Hawking's theories, poker and predictive text. Reading a train timetable, the infamous Magic Roundabout in Swindon, London's tube network and fax machines also appeared.
