Mahamas Projects In Central Region Putting Money In Pockets - Ricketts-Hagan

Central Regional Minister, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan has described the library built in honour of the late President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills at Cape Coast as an icing on the cake for the people of the region in terms of projects and infrastructure.

According to him, Central Region has had its fair share of the various and numerous projects and infrastructure projects of President John Dramani Mahama in the country.

Commenting on the Professor Mills’ Library, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan mentioned on Okay Fm’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show that the edifice will serve as an employment avenue.

He again mentioned that the likes of the state of the art stadium at Cape Coast, Komenda Sugar Factory and the Otuam Community Day School are source of employments for the people in Central Region.

“We are about to commission Kotokuraba Market and the Elmina Fish Processing Plant and there is also a bridge across the Cape Coast Castle. Professor Mills' Library is the icing on the cake for the people of Central Region for the good job of President Mahama when it comes to infrastructure or when it comes to projects,” he averred.

He hinted that in about a month, the Kotokuraba Market will be completed, stressing that due to the beauty of the market, people have started calling it a shopping mall.

He insisted that “all these projects create jobs and they put money in people’s pockets because if you work at Professor Mills’ library, at the end the month, you will be paid. The same way the Kotokuraba market, Komenda Sugar Factory, the stadium will provide jobs.”

“ . . so the things the President has done for us in the Central Region, it will take the whole day to mention them,” he stressed.
