West Ham bid �16m for Andre Ayew

West Ham United are preparing a £16million bid for Ghana ace Andre Ayew, according to a report by UK news portal the Sun.
 
The Hammers are ready to cash in on the player after missing out on his services last season.

Ayew who could be leaving Swansea City this summer have reportedly drawn interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.

West Ham are eager to beat off the competition from the two giants as they preparing a whopping £16million to secure the signature of the Ghanaian international.

The former Olympique Marseille player was outstanding in the English Premier League last season after bagging 12 goals to finish as the top scorer for Swansea City.

He also won three Swansea City player of the month accolades and one English Premier League player of the month award.

He was also adjudged the best newcomer at Swansea City during the end of season awards.

The Black Stars deputy skipper has also drawn interest from Italian Club Napoli who are willing to sign him before the season begins.

The 27-year-old is currently on a preseason training exercise with Swansea City.
