Sarkodie, Abraham Attah, Anas, Jim Iyke, Make List Of 100 Most Influential Young Africans
Ghanaian media personality and Forbes Africa correspondent Peace Hyde has been named among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans alongside investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The list which was compiled in consultation with a jury made up of young Africans based across the globe has representation from 27 African countries with a gender equity of 62 men and 38 women with the youngest being 14, considering the age limit of 40.
Selecting 10 of the most influential across 10 distinct categories, the number 100 represents the force of young people who are creating change and making sure it translates into making the lives of other people better. On social media 87% of these young Africans are on Facebook with a combined following of 18,317,458 while 86% have 16,203,116 followers on twitter as at July 15, 2016 when the data was compiled on July 15, 2016.
Peace Hyde makes the list alongside other Ghanaians including rapper Sarkodie, entrepreneur Sangu Delle and Anas. Also making the list are popular blogger Linda Ikeji, Nigerian pop star, Wizkid and actor Omotola Jalade.
