Some of Ghana’s premium musicians including Supt. Kofi Sarpong, Tinny, Edem, Wisa, Luther, Screw Face, Shiloo, King Jerry, Dunsin, Apaatse, Chameleon, Ohema Dadao and several others teamed up to thrill thousands of music lovers at the Bukom Square during the Gamashi Homowo 2016 Bash from Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The concert was to climax entertainment activities for the 2016 Gamashi Homowo festival and it was headlined by fast rising hiplife musician, Nii Funny of ‘Yooko Ebreaki Me’ fame and a VGMA nominee.

“It was very successful and we owe it to God, hard work and the goodwill of a few people who believed in us. When we drew the proposal and sent it round, all the sponsors did not believe in us. But EIB gave us a chance by making Kasapa FM our official partners and also used the EIB networks to promote the event.

“Then Kaya Tours and 30Minits Live also believed in us and at that point we decided it was only God that could stop us. We give it all to God", Halifax Ansah-Addo, Executive Director of Lyrics & More, organizers of the event noted.

The venue was packed with thousands of persons from Gamashi and its environs who stood on their feet from about 7pm Saturday until 4am on Sunday when the organizers had to close the show
Aside the big name musicians who rocked the stage, there were about a score of rising musicians who used the platform to advertize and promote their talents.

The show was organized by Lyrics & More in partnership with Kasapa Fm. It was supported by Kaya Tours, 30Minitz Live, Agoo TV and GhOne TV.
