Member of Parliament (MP) for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi has said that there would be no need complaining about electricity tariffs when there is an absolute access to it.

“As a matter of fact we cannot have electricity in abundance and at the same time refuse to pay more for the service rendered. There would be no need complaining about electricity prices when we have access to the power that the various activities we use the power for would definitely fetch us income,” he said.

Speaking to UTV’s morning show host, Lawyer Tweneboah Kodua, he angrily described members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as those who use jargons and abusive words without thinking about it, after his opponent on the show, Ashanti Regional Secretary on the ticket of the NPP, Sam Pyne portrayed the Mahama led Administration as an incompetent government.

Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi further stressed that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, 2016 Presidential Candidate for the NPP, cannot govern this country when voted into power as President, since he has not been able to address the long time misunderstanding in his small party as the leader.

“How can Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo lead this country when he cannot even settle the long time quarrels and misunderstanding amongst his party executives, members and the party at large?  Ones way of handling issues in the past will depict how his future judgments will be. I won’t say the NDC does not have issues within it but we always solve them internally,” he said.
