Attempts by some unscrupulous persons to defraud a former chief accountant of the National Disaster Management Organization, (NADMO) using the name of The New Crusading GUIDE has been exposed.
Investigations conducted by The New Crusading GUIDE has revealed that these unscrupulous people falsely pose as investigators from the New Crusading Guide and claim they have damaging stories about their victims and extort money from them.
Speaking to The New Crusading GUIDE in an interview yesterday, spokesperson for the Former NADMO, Chief Accountant said his boss was in his office yesterday when a someone called his phone with an Airtel number 0269842872 describing himself as Yaw Sarpong, an investigative Journalists from the New Crusading Guide and that he had a story about him and wanted to meet him for his reaction.
“Not knowing what he wanted to say I and my special assistant arranged to meet him at the offices of The New Crusading GUIDE. When we got to The New Crusading Guide offices at Labone, we were told that there is no employee working there called Yaw Sarpong.
Several attempts by the crusading guide to get in touch with the imposter proved futile because he had switched off the phone and had gone underground.
Efforts was also made by The New Crusading GUIDE to track the so called worker on the mobile number he used but it was shocking to realize that the number used by the alleged criminal had not been registered
The New Crusading GUIDE is therefore warning the general public to guard against such unscrupulous persons who pose as investigative reporters.
