President John Mahama has donated a brand new Black Toyota Fortuner V8 with registration number GN 7732-16 to the Regent of the Abudu royal family Boling-Lana Mahamadu Abdulai.
The gift was in fulfillment of the President's promise to the Boling-Lana some time past.
A spokesman for the Abudu Royals in Dagbon, Abdullah Abubakari told the media the family was grateful to the President for living up to his word.
He, however, called on government to remain committed to the roadmap in ensuring absolute peace and tranquility in Dagbon.
“We will like to urge him to continue to do what he wants to do for Dagbon and that is to perform the funerals of the late Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV and that of the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II.”
