CPP Campaign Strategist Endorses Montie 3 Remission

Mr. Kwabena Bomfeh, the Campaign Strategist of the CPP’s Presidential Candidate, has endorsed the pardon granted by President John Mahama to the Montie 3.

In a post on a CPP electronic media platform, he expressed in an impetuous Akan idiomatic phrase, saying “way3 a way3!”  Bomfeh stressed that no one should have any objection to the President’s act and that he (the President) should not entertain same from any quarter.

This statement by Ivor Greenstreet’s Campaign Strategist was apparently in reaction to a statement by the Party’s General Secretary (GS) that decried the Presidential pardon.

In Bomfeh’s words, the GS “should spare us the hollowness and the hypocrisy”, and that the President has the power to exercise the pardon and contrary to the opposition’s view, the President cannot be said to have been partisan.

The Campaign Strategist’s remarks has led news commentators to surmise that the “NDC have stuffed his cheeks”.

It will be recalled that the CPP’s GS and National Youth Organiser were suspended for their rebuttals of the Party’s Presidential Candidate, Ivor Greenstreet, who endorsed the President’s acceptance of a Ford car from a Burkinabe contractor.

The CPP is currently in an upheaval that pitches the forces for an independent CPP against those such as Bomfeh and Greenstreet who are seen to be acting as NDC 5th columnists, within the Party.

Stay tuned.
