Flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP,) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, together with his Vice Presidential candidate, Ms. Brigette Dzogbenuku, have received a rousing welcome from the people of Manso in the Mpohor constituency in the Western region.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd gathered there, Dr. Nduom charged the people not to waste their vote in the upcoming December 7th elections by voting for the wrong person.  He said voting for the wrong person will bring dire consequences in their lives.

He said that unlike football where one can go about regular life soon after after losing a match, a vote will have positive or negative effects which will last for four years.

“If you vote badly, it will affect you for four years - it will lead to poverty, disease and unemployment.”

So “Vote for jobs, potable water, good roads, stable electricity supply, access to good health care among others,” Dr. Nduom noted

The business mogul added that “if you vote for someone who does not give you what they promised, you have wasted your vote.”

…President Mahama went to the Flagstaff Houseg staff house and has brought dumsor, disease, poverty and unemployment despite his numerous promises.”

He charged the people to look around and see if the current Member of Parliament (MP,) Alex Agyekum, has helped to bring any development to the area.

In view of this, he urged the people to vote for J. B. Aubyn as a replacement for Hon. Agyekum and help him [Mr. Aubyn] to win the seat and “see what he will do for the constituency.”

Dr. Nduom charcterized President Mahama and Nana Akuffo Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) people running around making empty promises.

“Mahama said he will create 1 million jobs when he wins the elections… those are vague promises. Nana Addo says he will send a factory each to each town. I wonder why he [Nana Addo] waited till now… the answer is simple… he can’t do it,” Dr. Nduom stated..

He said that if the people wanted jobs, there is only one person who is recognized across the country as a creator of jobs and that is him [Dr. Nduom].
