PPP Steps Up Campaign To Woo Voters

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has intensified its election campaign to woo voters, promising improvement of the economic situation of the people.

The running mate of the party’s standard-bearer, Madam Bridget Dzogbenuku, said they would work hard to turn the struggling economy around to end the widespread pain and despondency.

The government of the PPP would efficiently and transparently manage the nation’s resources to lead the economy back to the path of sustainable growth to support job creation.

Addressing a political rally in Subri-Nkwanta in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency, she said they would keep faith with the people and would never betray their trust.

She said it was going to be accountable to make sure that the country worked not just for a selected few but everybody.

She therefore rallied the people to vote massively for the party in the December general election.

Miss Benita Ama Boamah, the parliamentary candidate, said the PPP would never take Ghanaians for granted and that it would live up to expectation, if given the mandate to govern.

She called for the people to trust her party with their votes to bring change to their lives.

Miss Boamah, the first female to contest the parliamentary seat since the start of the fourth republic, is campaigning of education, health and agriculture development.
