Ghana Strengthens Ties With Dubai

Local exporters and importers can now give a sign of relief as Ghana has strengthened business ties with United Arab Emirates (UAE). IQRA group, an international diversified Company is in Ghana to explore avenues of business collaboration and partnership for business development in Ghana and the sub region. Addressing business establishers in Accra, the Director of Operations Mr. Zohaib Ali said IQRA, head quartered in Dubai has other branches in Pakistan and Belgium. He said IQRA deals in a variety of commodities from consumable to building materials. �The company has a wide range of experts and have degree programmes�, he added. He went on further to say that their prime aim is to facilitate and explore their business in Africa especially in Ghana. In an interview with Mrs. Peggy Odaom, the CEO of Peg Impex, a Company that deals in hotel amenities, said she hoped to start business with the IQRA group to help in importing some materials for her business. On his part, Mr. Dominic Odoro Antwi, CEO of Design Housing Projects and the host of the programme, also commended the IQRA group for the extension of business partnership in Ghana and hoped that Ghana and Dubai would have a good business development.
