2016 Election..."Our Main Aim Is To Avoid Last Position" - Running Mate

The vice-presidential nominee of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Patricia Asante, says her party is not much interested in winning the upcoming presidential polls – “We don’t want to be losers after the elections. Second position is okay for us”

“Last position is what we want to avoid as a political party. We will be content with the second position,” she added.

Madam Patricia Asante who is also a farmer revealed that she could not complete her basic education, but says being a dropout will not hold her back from delivering as a future vice president.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’ the newly outdoor running mate told host Nana Yaw Kesse that - “I could not complete my JSS (Junior Secondary School) education, but that will not prevent me from contributing the rich ideas I have to build the nation.”

32 years old Patricia Asante however noted that, PPP’s Papa Kwesi Nduom has placed a court injunction on their yet to be launched manifesto – “We are waiting for him to lift that before we will launch our manifesto. We are not in hurry to launch our manifesto so we are patiently waiting for Papa Kwesi Nduom

She also appealed to the electorates to vote massively for Madam Akua Donkor - “Akua Donkor has given opportunity to those of us who are not educated to also have a say in contributing our quota”.
