Nduom Is A True Leader Savelugu Chief

Chief of Savelugu in the Northern Region, Yoo Na Bukari Jiha, has indicated that the presidential hopeful of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, is “indeed a true leader.”

According to him, “Dr. Nduom’s patience and persistence, coupled with his positive contributions to our economy” make him a “true leader.”

Chief of Savelugu made the statement when the PPP flag-bearer paid a courtesy call on him at his palace yesterday.

He expressed optimism in Dr. Nduom’s leadership and hoped that Ghanaians would vote for him on December 7.

He likened the PPP leader to the first President of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, stressing that “Your road to presidency is similar to that of Dr. Nkrumah’s fight for independence. You have been patient and tactful in your bid to be the President and for me that is laudable and worth emulating,” he said.

He also touted the business astuteness of Dr. Nduom.

Yoo Na Bukari is the latest to join the league of chiefs in the Northern Region who have commended Dr. Nduom for his positive contributions to the country’s economy, particularly in the area of job creation

Dr. Nduom, who is currently on a 5-day tour of the three northern parts, was earlier praised by the Wulesni Na, Bimbilla Na, Kpassa Na and Tatale Na.

The chief of Savelugu recalled in 2012 when Dr. Nduom was on campaign tour in the area, “I asked for a bank to be established in my area, and true to his (Dr. Nduom’s) promise, today we have a branch of his bank [GN Bank] here.”

Another northern Chief, Karaga Na, Adam Mahama, who was also fascinated by Dr. Nduom’s selflessness and entrepreneurial prowess earlier conferred on him, a chieftaincy title ‘Tumalana’ to wit owner of jobs.

Dr. Nduom who was overwhelmed by the loads of praises heaped on him reiterated his commitment to job creation when voted into power.

To this end, he called on the electorate to vote for the PPP in the December elections.
