People In Prez Mahama's Hometown Cannot Get Water To Drink- Samira Bawumia

Wife of the vice presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has chastised President Mahama for being ‘insensitive' to the people in the three northern regions.

According to Samira Bawumia, people in the north share their only source of water with animals but the President is busy erecting giant billboards across the country just to win elections. The ‘future second lady’ who was addressing teeming party supporters at the Trade Fair Centre could not fathom why a leader while rather invest it opulence rather than improving the lives of the citizens who voted for him.

“I just returned from the north and people in President Mahama’s hometown cannot get water to drink yet he has erected billboards all over the country” she bemoaned.

Samira Bawumia said given the crippling socio-economic conditions in the country, it is evident the Mahama-led government is not solution thus must be shown the exit.

She maintained that, the only one who can accelerate Ghana’s development is a selfless dedicated leader like Nana Akufo-Addo.

Samia Bawumia urged Ghanaians to vote for change for a bright future.
