Gov't & The Church Would Work Together For A Better Ghana -Veep

Kwesi Amissah-Arthur says government would continue to cement the relationship between the church and the state for a better Ghana. Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur was at the Wesley Methodist Cathedral to worship with them when the church inducted into office, the Right Rev. Dr. Paul Boafo as the new Administrative Bishop. 

Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur led government delegation which included the Ashanti Regional Minister, John Alexander Ackon to the ceremony.

The Presiding Bishop of the church, Most Rev. Titus Awotwi Pratt performed the induction ceremony at Wesley Cathedral in Kumasi.

He was supported by the ministers of the church, including the immediate past Presiding Bishop and Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Emmanuel Asante. 

Most Rev Awotwi Pratt charged the new Administrative Bishop to be obedient, disciplined and hardworking and recognize the contributions of others in the course of his work. He tasked him to build on what his predecessors achieved and not focus on doing better than them.
