The Paramount Chief of the Agogo Traditional Council, Nana Akuoko Sarpong, has paid personal tribute to wife of the NPP Presidential Candidate, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo and her family for their immense contribution to his life and that of Agogo.

In what appears like a subtle endorsement of the NPP flagbearer through his wife, the Paramount Chief of Agogo, who spoke through his Linguist, Nana Boakye Yiadom, recounted how Mrs. Akufo- Addo's father came to his aid during his early days for which reason he was so very thankful.

According to him, nothing can replace the support Mrs. Akufo-Addo's father offered and that he will forever be grateful to him.

Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo, who is on a five day tour to garner support for her husband on her part said she was overwhelmed by the tribute and said though she was aware that her father, as an astute politician came into contact with different kinds of people, she was very happy that a high profile personality like Nana Akuoko Sarpong is one of them.

She stated that the Agogo Traditional Council will be major beneficiary of all the good policies and programmes that will be introduced under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

Meanwhile, three prominent Queenmothers from Agogo, Dome and Juansa have all declared their unflinching support for the NPP Presidential, backing him to win the upcoming elections.
