The Queenmother of the Mampong Traditional Council, Nana Agyakomaa Dufie II, has showered praises on the wife of the NPP Presidential Candidate, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, describing her political exploits as an inspiration to women empowerment in the country.

According to the powerful Ashanti Queenmother, Mrs. Akufo Addo's ability to follow her husband's exploit, following her tour in some constituencies shortly after that of her husband, is worth commending.

"Your courageous move to support your husband's footsteps by embarking on your own tour has really touched my heart. It has really proved to me the real strength of womanhood," Nana Agyakomaa Dufie II emphasized.

The Mamponghemaa, who gave the commendation when Mrs. Akufo Addo and her entourage paid a courtesy call at her Palace in Mampong, encouraged the NPP flagbearer's wife to keep up the good work and continue to show commitment towards women empowerment in the country.

Mrs. Akufo Addo, who was in the Ashanti Region for a three day tour, received similar adorations and commendations from other powerful Queenmothers including the Asantehemaa, the Queenmother of Ejisu, Juaben, Dome, Juaso amongst others.
