The NDC Is A Party For Rural Folks- Veep

The Vice President Kwesi Amissah - Arthur has called on the people Gbintiri, Kulinava and Nagboo in the Nalerigu / Gambaga Constituency of the Northern Region to vote massively for the NDC party.

According to him, should they cast their vote for the NDC, it would enable the party to provide better services for farmer's and an improvement in the lives of the rural poor.

The Vice President said government would continue to develop the area for the betterment of all. He called on them to give President Mahama another term.

He said that the NDC party is a party for the people especially the rural folks. He called on the people to go out there and vote on December 7th for the NDC and the parliamentary candidate for the area Alhaji Baba Seidu Issifu.

Mr Amissah -Arthur further stated that the candidate is a competent person, hence the need to give him the opportunity to go to Parliament and compliment the efforts of President Mahama.

He used the opportunity to mention some of the developmental projects that has taken place under the NDC in the area.

According to him, the NDC government has managed to construct a dam and five bore holes in the area. Aside this, they have put up a 3 unit classroom block in Gurign and Gaadantiga, CHIPS compound in Gbintiri, a police station and a 3 class room school unit in Jargoo.

The vice president said in the coming days, the state of their road network would also be tackled for them to get easy accessibility. 

The vice president said government was very grateful for their continuous support for the NDC party in the area and would do whatever it takes for them to be part of the national development agenda.

On his part Ubor Wajack Jabab, Chief of Gbintiri thanked government for the good work it is doing for the area and urged them to continue.

He noted that his people are law abiding and would continue to live in peace before and after the elections .
