Avoid Mistake Of Voting For NPP - Prof Ahwoi Cautions Youth

Former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development and a leading Member of the NDC Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi has cautioned that it will take a long time for the youth to get the opportunity again to be involved in government if they make the mistake of voting the NPP into office.

Prof. Ahwoi made the statement whilst addressing students of the St Francis College of Education in Hohoe in the Volta region as part of activities of the five-day campaign tour of the region by the Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah who is being accompanied by the Regional Minister Hon Helen Adjoa Ntoso as well as national and Volta regional executives of the party.

Prof. Ahwoi said the NDC is a party for the youth which seriously values their potential . He said It is for that reason that the late Prof. Mills and President John Mahama gave ministerial appointments to the youth to serve in their government.

He said the NDC believes in widening access to education for the benefit of majority of the youthful population unlike the NPP which promises free education for only a few people to benefit.

Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi therefore advised the youth to vote massively for President Mahama to continue to develop the country.

The Chief of Staff Mr Julius Debrah advised the youth not to be discouraged by initial challenges in their effort to build their future because winners never quit and those who quit in life never win.

Earlier in the day the Chief of Staff and his team addressed a rally at Hohoe .
