Chief Of Gambaga Endorses President Mahama

The Chief of Gambaga in the East Mamprusi District of the Northern Region, Gambarana Yahaha Wuni, has praised President John Mahama, for bringing development to his area and ‘laying a solid foundation’ for the progress of the country.

For this reason, he has endorsed the candidature of the president for re-election in the December 7 poll.

Speaking at his palace when the Vice President Kwesi Amissah – Arthur, paid a courtesy call on him, the chief said President Mahama deserved to be re-elected.

He asserted that virtually all the projects carried out in his area, including roads, had been undertaken by an NDC government, adding that the community would never turn its back on the party.

He said the commitment shown by the Mahama government to improve the welfare of the people of the area, in his view, was worth mentioning. He said the, NDC government should win again so that the president would continue developing “my town for me”. “I really thank God for him,” he said.

Mr Amissah –Arthur said he was there to introduce the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the area Alhaji Baba seidu Issifu to them and also seek their permission of the chiefs and people of the area as a sign of respect so that he and his team can campaign.

The vice president said the NDC is committed to a peaceful elections come December 2016 and the need to give President John Mahama a second term together with the parliamentary candidate so that  they can continue with the good works that they have stated in the area.

He said the NDC party is for the people and would continue to invest in the welfare of the people and massive infrastructure development.

The Vice president used the opportunity to address NDC party faithful’s in Gambaga and the need to go out there to vote massively for the NDC parliamentary candidate Alhaji Baba Seidu Issifu and President John Mahama.
