Ghana FA Denies David Accam�s Invitation To The Black Stars
The Ghana Football Association has denied reports indicating Chicago Fire attacker David Accam has been invited to the Black Stars team ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
The MLS Club announced the attacker has earned a late invitation to the Black Stars ahead of the crucial game on Sunday.
Accam was not named in Avram Grant’s 23-man squad for the game against Egypt.
The Ghana Football Association has hence denied speculation about the 26-year-old’s supposed invitation to the Black Stars camp.
“David Accam has not been invited to join the Black Stars for the Egypt game on Sunday as speculated in the media,” the Ghana FA tweeted.
The Black Stars team is currently preparing in Dubai ahead of the game.
The team will leave for Egypt on Friday for the crucial clash at the El-Borg Arabi Stadium.
