Chief Of Staff Calls On Chiefs In Nsawam/ Adoagyri Municipality

The Chief  of  Adoagyiri and Ankobeahe of Akyim Kotoku Traditional area Nana  Okoanadwo Afutu  Dompreh IV has  appealed  to politicians  and the electorate to make  peace their  major  concern as the December  7th election  approaches. He gave the advice today  when the Chief  of Staff  Mr Julius Debrah who is on a five-day  campaign tour of the Eastern region and his team called on the Adoagyiri  Chief at his palace.

Nana Okoanadwo  Afutu  Dompreh  IV also appealed  to President  Mahama  and his government  to release lands in the Adaogyiri Traditional area which were taken over by government  but were  not used  for the intended  purpose to the traditional authority

At the palace of the  Chief  of Sekyikrom Nana Osae Anka  IV  he ( the Chief) appealed to government to amend the law to include the name of  Sekyikrom in the name  of the Nsawam / Adoagyiri  Municipality since Sekyikrom  is an old  town in the municipality which deserves such recognition .

Nana Osae Anka IV also appealed to  government to provide a foot bridge along the  Accra -Nsawam by-pass  to reduce the incidence of vehicles knocking down people in the area.

The Chief of staff  also called on the Zongo chiefs in  the Nsawam /Adoagyiri  Municipality as well as the  Queen mother  of  Nsawam  Nana Awo  Yaa Amankwa I.

Mr Julius  Debrah promised to convey the concerns of all the chiefs  to the President for action to be taken on them.
He appealed to the people to vote for President  Mahama  to extend  his mandate to continue to develop the country adding  that  the Eastern region is dear to the heart of the President.
