Ghanaians Should "Waste" Their Votes On PNC For The First Time - Atik

Atik Mohammed has called on Ghanaians to "waste" their votes on the Presidential candidate of the People's National Convention (PNC) Dr. Edward Mahama for national development.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, Atik Mohammed noted that the PNC candidate has well-planned policies and a great vision for the nation.

According to him, the "PNC is the modern version of Nkrumah's vision and ideas".

He recounted that the PNC has been graced by God to salvage the economy, further stating that the party's flagbearer has been strategically positioned on the ballot paper for victory.

The PNC General Secretary urged Ghanaians to "try out" the party during the December polls.

"Some people think they will waste their votes if they vote for PNC. In democracy, there’s nothing like a wasted ballot. That idea helped Trump to win. Some were like the two are similar, so I won’t go and vote. Eventually, those who shared in Trump’s vision went out to vote."

He added that "if you vote for a PNC candidate, do not think you’re wasting your ballot. No, there’s nothing like wasted ballot in democracies. I plead with you that for the first time, let’s try wasting our votes on the People’s National Convention and its candidate . . . And I can assure that the lives of Ghanaians will never be the same.”
