There's No Internal Democracy In NPP -Veep

Vice-president Kwesi Amissah- Arthur has taken a swipe at the largest opposition party NPP as a party that has no internal democracy; hence Ghanaians should not vote for them.

Vice president Kwesi Amissah-Arthur made the statement when he addressed hundreds of party faithfuls at Tikobu No. 1 in the Jomoro District of the Western region as part of his four day campaign tour to the region.

Mr. Amissah-Arthur said when you look at the NPP, apart from their flagbearer all other positions from the chairman to the general secretary are all acting positions.

When you disagree with the flag bearer you are suspended. He said the NDC party believes in peace and stability, something that is key and is missing in NPP so they should choose their party wisely.

He said with the NDC party development is key, so they should move forward with a party that would change their lives.

The  Vice President cited the style of the opposition when they overthrew  Osagyfo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, he said they took all construction machines away and stalled development in the Nzema area. He added that learning from history bad voting would affect and stall development projects.

Mr Amissah-Arthur said selfishness is alien in the NDC and is a party with a message of hope.

He used the occasion to introduce the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the area Mr. Thomas Yankey and asked the electorates to vote for him to compliment the good works of President John Dramani Mahama.

He also advised them against the voting of skirt and blouse in the area.
