Ghanaian Clubs To Benefit From $44m Sports Cul Ghana Limited Deal

Ghanaian Clubs are set to benefit from a mouth-watering $44million deal with Sports consortium, Sports Cul Ghana Limited.
 
Sports Cul Ghana limited on Tuesday announced the lip smacking deal for local Clubs which will see various teams from the Premier League and division one benefiting from the new deal.

Women’s football will also reap from the initiative introduced by the Sports and Cultural firm.

According to the communication director of Sports Cul Ghana Limited Dr. Kweku Ofosu Asare, the football League and Sports project will see the winner of the Ghana Premier League taking home a huge sum of $400,000 whilst the runner up take away $3000 with the third and fourth placed team receiving $2,500 each.

The deal will also see players in the Premier League receive a minimum monthly wage of GHC2, 000 with players in the division one and the National Women’s League receiving 50% of the amount received by the Premier League players.

Coaches in the League will also be paid between GHC 5,000 and GHC 10,000 monthly with match officials and journalists also getting their fair share of the deal.

The Ghana football Association and the Premier League board who are the owners of the Ghana Premier League will also receive an amount of GHC500, 000 each every month.

The deal will also see the construction and renovation of infrastructures and pitches at the various venues.

Other Sporting disciplines such as Athletics and boxing will also benefit from the bumper deal.

The new deal according to the Sports firm (Sports Cul Ghana Limited) will take effect from February 2017.
