Stop Lying! Amissah-Arthur Warns Adwoa Sarfo

Vice President Kwesi  Amissah-Arthur has called on the  people of Dome-Kwabenya  Constituency in the Greater Accra Region to reject the claims by the Member of Parliament for the area Adwoa Sarfo, that projects initiated  by government in her area was as a result of her intense lobbying.

The vice president noted that the Dome market together with the construction of asphalt roads and community day school in the area was as a result of government’s agenda to develop the area and not the role of Madam Adwoa Sarfo who plays insignificant role in the NDC’s agenda for development.

His visit to the Dome market brought activities to a standstill and Mr. Kwesi Amissah-Arthur inspected the some stores which were under construction to serve as sheds for the traders when completed.

He assured the traders that when the facilities were completed, they will be given the first option of acquiring and occupying them to do their business.

The Dome market is one of the biggest and busiest markets in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency and for years, successive political administrations have tried further enhance for trading purpose.

The visit by Vice President Amissah-Arthur was to introduce the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Dome-Kwabenya, Nurudeen Mohammed to the traders.

The DCE for the area, Mr. John Kwao Sackey led the Vice President through the market amidst chants of “JM Toaso” from some traders who were expressing their joy over the positive developments taking in the market.
