Great Commission Church celebrates 10th anniversary

Elder Amos K. Annan, Youth Coach of the Church of Pentecost has called on students to desist from condoning and conniving with wrong-doers to amass wealth overnight. He cited the recent cyber fraud and the get-rich-quick attitude that had been the order of the day. Elder Annan made the call at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the uNiversity of Ghana, Legon, Campus Ministry of the Great Commission Church International on Sunday. It was under the theme; "Celebrating 10 years of Ministry with the Greatest friend." He urged the students to champion the cause of unity and love one another for the growth and development of the Ministry. Mr Elias Asuming-Brempong, President of the Ministry, said 10 years of ministry to students on the University of Ghana Campus had been eventful, bringing mixed emotions and memories. "We have had our fare share of disappointments and victories, and had seen the hand and power of God in various ways and forms, both individually and collectively," he said. Mr Asuming-Brempong said the Ministry started with only 15 members but it had now grown numerically, spiritually and financially. He said the Ministry also organises major concerts, vacation outreaches, dinners and an end-of-year programme dubbed: "Praise, Prayer and Anointing Service". He expressed the hope that it would acquire a land to build its own chapel.
