TV Personality Eric Don Arthur has been floored by incumbent Member of Parliament, Alex Afenyo Markin in the Effutu constituency parliamentary elections.
Don Arthur also a consultant was seeking to annex the seat for the ruling party in that crucial tie but lost the bid bitterly to the young legal practitioner of the main opposition-New Patriotic Party(NPP).
Results released from the ground puts Afenyo Markin in a comfortable lead in the contest.
Out of a total valid votes of 37,109, Markin polled 22,954 as against Don Arthur’s 12,628 votes.
