NPP Victory Is Like A Dream; I Can't Even Understand It- Karbo

Member of Parliament (MP) - elect of the Lawra constituency, Anthony Abayifa Karbo has expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians and his constituents for having hope in the administration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, Anthony Karbo was elated about the confidence that the Lawra residents reposed in him and the Nana Addo-led NPP during the 2016 general elections.

“I thank all Ghanaians. My well-wishers, my admirers, my enemies, my critics, all of them (Kwame); I thank everybody. The only thing that can make a person better is when people criticize you and guide you and make sure that whatever you’re doing is backed by prayers. I have believed that prayers really work. The impossible can be made possible," he said.

Karbo further condemned critics who plotted to assassinate the character of the President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; saying Nana Addo was given all sorts of descriptions prior to the December polls.

He expressed resentments over the name callings and claims that Nana Addo had been cursed and therefore would never become the President of the Republic.

Nonetheless, Karbo was grateful to God and the people of Ghana for letting the dream of the NPP come to pass, hence voting massively for Nana Addo and himself.

“There’s a God. There’s God . . . I can’t even understand it when I think about it. It’s like a dream. [Kwami] I slept in opposition and woke up in government," he added.
