As the saying goes that ‘to whom much is given, much is expected’, Hon. Hawa Koomson has assured Ghanaians that every promised made by the President elect, Nana Akufo Addo will be honoured in due time.

Specifically, the Awutu-Senya East Constituency lawmaker mentioned that at least, by the end of one year of Nana Addo’s administration, most of the promises will be met.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com, Hon Hawa Koomson urged Ghanaians to exercise patience as Nana Addo’s government is not a continuous one but rather from one government to another and therefore time will be needed to restructure things in the country.

“We appreciate the confidence Ghanaians have in the Nana Addo government but I urge them to exercise a bit patience because it is factual that Nana Addo’s government will not be a continuous one but from one regime to another and time will be needed to restructure things in the country”, she averred.

“The man has promised Ghanaians and I strongly believe he will deliver on his promises to Ghanaians with the help from his team. They have sat down to come up with the things they can do for Ghana but everything requires time”, she assured.

She reiterated that “maybe we cannot use three months to do everything Ghanaians expect of us but I can promise Ghanaians that by time we will be one year in government, most of the promises will be met because I know Nana Addo and just as the man is, I believe we share the same can-do spirit to fulfil promises”.

“Once, we have set our eyes on something; we will ensure its completion. I know to whom much is given, much is expected and so we are not surprised by the expectations of Ghanaians but I know as we say the battle is the Lord’s, it remains the Lord’s and we will fulfil the promises to Ghanaians”, she reassured.
