President Nana Akufo-Addo has publicly admitted how the vociferous campaign of Samira Bawumia helped him win the 2016 elections.
“We saw Samira during the campaign, she was very vocal. I think she was the one whose speech worried John Mahama the most. God should protect and guide her so that she can help Bawumia," Nana Addo told attendants of a special thanksgiving service at Kyebi.
Samira Bawumia's fierce campaign speeches gained her the title "Ghana's Michelle Obama" with her taste for exceptional fashion no doubt placing her beyond the accolade of second lady of Ghana.
