The Progressive People’s Party is pleased to announce that two of its members Mr. Richard Nii Amarh and Mr. Emmanuel Osei have both been elected to serve as Secretary-General and West Africa Coordinator respectively for the Advisory Youth Council of the Africa Liberal Network.
We wish to congratulate the two and wish them well in their new roles to promote liberalism in Africa, knowing that Africa needs liberalism more than any other continent.
The two were amongst six others, who were elected to various positions through an online voting system from amongst members of the 47 African Liberal Democratic parties and organizations from 30 African countries.
The Advisory Youth Council is the first of its kind and shall be helping give the African Liberal Youth a Voice in African Political affairs.
The PPP being a member of the Liberal Network African has been advocating for Liberal Ideas at the National front in Ghana. The Party has been the biggest promoter of Free and Compulsory Education for all in order to give our people the best chance to take advantage of opportunities that we hope to create for them.
The two members who won are distinguished hard working members of our party and we hope and pray that they continue to shine the bright light of the PPP in their new roles in Africa to show the way.
