After the first four years of the New Patriotic Party has come to an end, Ghanaians would judge them based on the numerous promises they rode on to capture power.

The party wouldn’t be assured a new tenure in office if they fail to meet the standards they have promised Ghanaians to set, John Amoako has said.

The Business Journalist in an interview with Eric Acquah on ATV’s Sika Sem show noted that the NPP has promised to build one dam to a village and this would be a critical area voters would make references to before casting their vote in the next general elections.

To the business community, Eric Acquah explains that they would be keen on the reduction of corporate tax from 25% to 20% as promised by the current NPP administration.   

“The reduction of cooperate taxes would be one huge area the business community would be looking up to. And as an analyst, these are some of things I would judge the NPP on when they come to seek my mandate”, he said.

He decried the absence of a National Development Plan citizens can rely on to scrutinize the work of governments that come to power.

“All we have to depend on is the manifestos of political parties and some of the wishes they make. These are the methods we use to measure them instead of having a National Development Plan”, he noted.
