�Girls Girls For Nana Addo� Salutes Otiko Djaba

An all female group made up of over 30,000 members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has sent a congratulatory message to Hon. Otiko Djaba, Minister Designate – Gender Ministry.

In a statement signed by it’s National Cordinator, Vera Wiredu, ‘Girls Girls For Nana Addo’ praised Hon. Dzaba for her dedication and love for the NPP and expressed confidence she would deliver in her new role as she further seeks to advance the course of women and children.

“She is very hardworking and her commitment and perseverance is unmeasurable. We are very confident in her and know that she will take the Ministry of Gender, Children and social Protection to another level in her tenure of office if finally confirmed.

“The entire leadership and members of Girls Girls for Nana Addo, a volunteer group with over 30,000 memberships under the women’s wing of the N.P.P, who campaigned massively in all the 275 constituencies in Ghana at the just ended 2016 general election wishes to congratulate Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba, Minister Designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection. Her nomination to this sensitive office of national development was expected because of her commitment towards women empowerment in Ghana,” the statement read.

‘Girls Girls For Nana Addo’ added that “Her leadership as the National Women’s organizer is just admirable as she empowered both the young and old especially in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the enormous active involvement and contribution of all women groups during the 2016 electioneering campaign. We the leadership and entire members of the Girls Girls for Nana Addo are very confident in Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba and very hopeful that she will succeed in her new role”.

The group further expressed appreciation to H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo for the confidence reposed in Madam Otiko.
