Woman Pours Hot Soup On Neighbour Over Akufo-Addo (Photo)

A 45-year woman is in the grips of the Kole Bu Police Command in the Greater Accra Region for allegedly pouring hot soup on her neighbor and in the process causing severe burns to her body.

Elizabeth Elijah, popularly known in her neighbourhood as Bose, according to a Daily Graphic report, poured the soup on Hawa Mumuni at Abossey Okai Zongo following a misunderstanding which ensued between the two.

The duo, this website understands, had an argument over the investitute of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as President of the country. Hawa, 31, according to the report, had gone to fetch water when the unfortunate incident occurred to her.

According to her, she and Bose exchanged insults and as the confrontation got nasty the latter (Bose) lifted the soup that was on fire and poured it on her.

She expressed shock that all those present at the time looked unconcerned.

The Police have since confirmed the incident.

Bose, Kasapafmonline.com understands, is currently behind bards and being prepared for court.

Hawa on the other hand, has been discharged from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for review, pending surgery to remedy her burns.
