AFCON: Liverpool Charters Flight For Mane From Gabon

Liverpool Football Club on Sunday chartered a flight for their forward Sadio Mane in a bid for him to attend Monday’s last training in preparation for the game against Chelsea.

Mane’s penalty was stopped by Cameroon and Seville youngster Fabrice Ondoa, the latter cried bitterly because Senegal’s dreams of clinching their first AFCON championship were over.

He was devastated and so were his teammates alongside the rest of some Senegalese players.

Meanwhile, Cameroon celebrated wildly for booking their semi final slot.

Back in England at Liverpool Football Club, they were closely monitoring their star player’s progress.

As soon they witnessed Senegal’s exit, then they realized Mane had no more business in Gabon.

Liverpool sent in a special private jet to fly the 24-year-old to England.

Liverpool has managed only one win since Mane’s last involvement in the 2-2 draw at struggling Sunderland on 2nd January 2017.

Coach Jurgen Klopp and his charges have already been knocked out of both the EFL and FA Cups and have seen their title challenge falter to such an extent they are now battling to stay in the top four.
