A married teacher is on the run after her husband allegedly caught her using her menstrual blood to cook for him.

The incident, Adom News sources said, happened in Ampayoo, a village in the Eastern Region.

The woman was said to have disclosed to her husband that her major aim of cooking with her menstrual blood was to prevent him from cheating on her.

Mary Assibey, 29, was reported to have confessed to her husband that she did that following a directive by her pastor.

Meanwhile, her husband, Mr. Assibey Frimpong, has said the woman was currently on the run and that he will divorce her.

The families of the two are currently holding a meeting on the matter.
