AC Milan Claim Adiyiah Capture

Sportmediaset reports that the 19-year-old is set for a January move after the two clubs agreed a fee of 1.3m. Adiyiah is expected to take up the last non-EU spot in the Milan squad when the transfer window reopens. The former Heart of Lions striker left Accra on Saturday night for Milan to agree personal terms with the Rossoneri. His move rules out the return of Alberto Paloschi, who is currently at Parma on a co-ownership deal, to the San Siro. "In the market we are moving and I can say with complete confidence that we've bought the young Ghanaian Dominic Adiyah. The agreement with the Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK is there," AC Milan Chairman Adriano Galliani said. "Now he must get permission to enter Italy and we will organise his registration at the beginning of January. He must of course pass a medical and then he will be our player. "We've signed him because he is an attacker who can play in place of Pato and Ronaldinho." Adiyiah won the Golden Shoe and Golden Ball awards at the just ended Fifa Under-20 World where Ghana won gold.
