Actor Emmanuel Armah Gets Wheelchair

Ailing Ghanaian actor, Emmanuel Armah was on Sunday visited by a group made up of Ghanaian actors, friends and fans who went to his aid with a wheelchair, cartons of bottled water and other items including a cash amount of one thousand Ghana cedis (GHC1,000).

The onetime prominent actor known for roles in Fresh Trouble, Things Men Do, Beyond Love and Shadows from the Past, has been ill for weeks.

Even though it was not clearly established what was wrong with him, earlier reports said he finds it difficult to walk. He was admitted at 37 Military Hospital and later released. He is currently receiving herbal treatment at Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.

The group who visited him on Sunday was led by actress Adjoa Pee. She was accompanied by other actresses like Rachael of Bongo Bar series fame, Emmanuealla and Eugenia of Living with Trisia series, Dr. Who of Hot FM, Clarence of Asafo FM, Cape Coast and others. They are part of a whatsapp group called Fanmly (friends, fans & families)

“We presented items like wheelchair, cartons of bottled water, a cash of GHC1000 amongst other items. Upon a short notice, I knocked on the former President Kufuor’s door and he helped us,” Adoa Pee disclosed.

The group was formed with the idea to bring actors together on social media to interact with their fans. It has members such as Kalsoume Sinare, Eunice Banini, Gifty Temeng (who just passed away) and many other actors.
