GROUPE IDEAL mulls international expansion by 2018

Groupe Ideal, a business group that manages a diverse portfolio of businesses, says plans to expand its operations and become an international player within and beyond the shores of Ghana was on course.

The President of Groupe Ideal, Dr. Nii Kotei Dzani, told journalists in an interview that in furtherance of the goal, the company would be undertaking major acquisition and mergers this year in the areas of finance, media and education to expand its territory.

He said negotiations were already underway with some entities and the Groupe Ideal’s long-term vision of becoming a world class company playing in the international market could be attained as early as 2018.

The company has plans to establish a presence in Europe, particularly the United Kingdom and also expand into some African countries.

Groupe Ideal currently operates in the areas of Investment Banking, Business Finance, Trade, Asset Management, Mining and Offshore Consultancy Services, Media, and Security Services.

Dr Dzani said TV Africa, one of Groupe Ideal’s subsidiaries, would soon extend the broadcast of its programmes to some countries on the African continent to project African values through ethical journalism.

He said the company would continue to focus on good customer service and tailor products to meet the needs of clients to drive the business growth.

On his recent election as the Greater Accra representative on the Council of State, Dr Kotei Dzani, sounded very positive about his role, saying he would bring his expertise on board to offer advice to the President.

Dr Dzani is an Entrepreneur and Businessman per excellence, with extensive business experience as an Economist and Business Owner with a proven record of successful entrepreneurship. He brings on board considerable years of experience in managing Micro & SME financing operations in Ghana.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and an Honorary Doctorate from Oral Roberts University, Oklahoma, USA. He also holds an MBA in Corporate Governance and Finance from University of Hull, United Kingdom. He is currently undertaking a professional law degree.

The companies that form this spectrum include Ideal Finance, First Trust Savings and Loans, Ideal Capital partners, Ideal Asset solutions, Ideal Trade, TV Africa, Ideal pension Trust, Ideal Insurance brokers, Tsaste Foundation, a CSR wing of the Groupe Ideal financial holdings Force 64 Security, and Westfielld offshore consult.
