Kwesi Appiah Likely To Be Re-appointed As Black Stars Coach

Former Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah is likely to make a return as head Coach of the Black Stars, Ghanasportsonline.com can reveal.
 
Ghanasportsonline.com’s investigations reveals the Ghana Football Association could re-appoint the ex-Ghana captain as the Coach of the senior National team.

Information indicates five of the six-member committee in search for a new Coach are in favor for the 56-year-old to return to his former post after a meeting on Thursday.

Appiah is currently working as the head Coach of Sudanese Club Al Khartoum Waatani.

The former Kotoko player made history as the first Ghanaian to qualify the Black Stars to a FIFA World Cup after leading the team to the 2014 edition of the competition in Brazil.

Many football enthusiasts have been calling for the return of the Coach who spent two years in charge as head Coach of the Black Stars.

The Ghana Football Association have already opened application for the vacant post which was left by Israeli trainer Avram Grant.
