Freda Prempeh Honoured

The Brong-Ahafo Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has honoured Mrs Freda Prempeh, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano North, for her service to the nation.

According to the Young Adults Fellowship of the presbytery, the honour was bestowed on the MP for her passion, unrelenting commitment and selfless service to the PCG, the region and the nation as a whole.

“With our greatest appreciation we hereby honour you, Mrs Freda Prempeh, in recognition of your passion and service to the nation,” a certificate of honour made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) stated.

Mrs Prempeh commended the presbytery for the honour done her and pledged her commitment to work hard for the benefit of not only her constituents but the church, the Brong Ahafo Region and the country in general.

She told the GNA that recently she personally financed the construction of toilet and bathroom facilities at Bourkrukruwa and presented a motor bike, 50 bags of cement and GHC2,000 to the Bomaa Presbyterian Church.

The MP added that she had also donated 100 bags of cement, computers, photocopier machines, 50 writing desks, streetlights, and GHC20,000 to the Midwifery Training School at Duayaw-Nkwanta and also given similar support to the local Presbyterian churches at Mankran and Nsuapem.
