Kotoko Fined GH 500 By Ghana FA For Misconduct In Super 2 Clash

Asante Kotoko have been fined GH 500 by the FA in accordance with article 39.b of the general regulations.

Supporters of the Porcupine Warriors were charged for misconduct during their League match with Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Fans of the visiting team upon reacting to a decision by center referee Samuel Sukah who had awarded a penalty to Hearts of Oak threw bottles of water onto the pitch at the blast of the final whistle.

This in accordance with the FA regulation will see the Ghanaian giants pay the said amount as punishment.

The Ghana Football Association match review panel cleared referee Samuel Sukah of any wrongdoing as they deemed his penalty call against Kotoko to be legitimate.

Kotoko are preparing for their League match against Inter-Allies at the Babayara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
