The Adentan-Abokobi Divisional Police Command, on Thursday impounded 74 unlicensed and unregistered motorbikes.
Some of the bikes were also seized because the riders were riding without helmets and documents.
Speaking to Ghana News Agency, the Divisional Police Commander, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Joseph Antwi Gyawu said the exercise was to get rid of indiscipline on the roads and to serve as a deterrent to others.
He said after investigations the culprits would be put before the Motor-Traffic Court.
