The management of Obuasi Ashanti Gold are considering a move for one of the following renowned Ghanaian coaches specifically, Paa Kwasi Fabian, Maxwell Konadu and Micheal Osei to take over the vacant job following the departure of coach Bashir Hayford.
 
The miners are currently without a substantive coach after Coach Bashir Hayford forsook his post for personal reason which has deepened their bizarre misfortune.

Caretaker coach Yakubu Sheriff Mambo who inherited difficult task from Bashir Hayford wants to overturn the misfortune of the miners to serve as a breakthrough in his coaching career but it seems the situation is progressively getting out of hand and this has prompted the top hierarchy of the club to sharpen the technical brain as early as possible in order to rescue this unfortunate situation.

The report however stress that among the above mentioned coaches, Michael Osei holds the trump card to occupy the job and his appointed is expected to be announced latest by this week.

Ashantigold have been struggling since the commencement of the league and have fallen dangerously into the relegation ditch.
